Ashghal has announced partial removal of the roundabout located west of Al Mazrooah Interchange on the Orbital Road from Friday.

The change is to allow the completion of road construction works at Al Mazrooah Interchange.
The proposed roundabout removal has been designed in coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic and will remain permanently in place.
Those travelling from Umm Slal Ali area, while exiting the place, can directly access the Orbital road westbound lanes and drive for a distance of 2km towards Al Mazrooah roundabout.
At Al Mazrooah roundabout, they can make a U-turn and access the Orbital Road eastbound lanes through which they can exit the Orbital Road at the first right turn while accessing Umm Slal Mohamed institutions such as the Health Centre, the Girls’ School and the petrol station. 
The motorists heading to Al Mazrooah Interchange can access Al Shamal Road towards Al Ruwais and all northern areas via the north-east ramp, or head straight towards Lusail. 
Those from Umm Slal Mohamed area, proceeding to Umm Slal Ali facilities such as the Immigration Services Centre, the Civil Defence and the Police Department will exit Umm Slal Mohamed area and access the Orbital eastbound lanes.
On the Orbital Road, they can drive straight towards Al Mazrooah Interchange and use the east roundabout at the interchange to do a U-turn and continue straight and use the exit towards the above destinations.
