His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani left Wednesday Lima, following a two-day state-visit to the Republic of Peru heading towards the Republic of Paraguay.
His Highness the Amir was seen off upon departure from the Callao air base by Peru Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Hugo de Zela, Commander-in-Chief of the Air Base Major General Javier Ramirez, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Peru Ali bin Hamad Al Sulaiti, Ambassador of Peru to the State of Qatar Carlos Velasco , as well as members of the Qatari Embassy in Lima.
His Highness the Amir sent a cable to President of the Republic of Peru Martin Alberto Vizcarra, expressing deep thanks and appreciation for the hospitality and honor accorded to His Highness and the accompanying delegation during the visit, which allowed meeting with HE the President and exchanging views on issues of common interest and means of strengthening and promoting the friendly relations and cooperation between the two countries in various fields for the good and the benefit of the two peoples. His Highness the Amir wished the President the best of health and happiness, and the friendly people of Ecuador further progress and prosperity.
