His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al -Thani received the key of the city of Lima, capital of the Republic of Peru, from the Mayor of the City Luis Castaneda Lossio, as an honourary guest of the Republic and an expression of the friendly relations and cooperation between the two countries.
This came during a ceremony held Tuesday in the municipality building, in the presence of a number of their excellencies senior officials in Peru.
His Highness the Amir and the Mayor of Lima held a meeting during which they reviewed the friendly relations between the two countries and ways to develop them.
The meeting and the ceremony were attended by members of the official delegation accompanying His Highness the Amir. (QNA)
