HE the Minister of Municipality and Environment, Mohamed bin Abdullah al-Rumaihi, yesterday took part in the 59th regular meeting of the Central Municipal Council (CMC), where he discussed with members the demands of people in their constituencies and the relevant plans. Regular sessions of the council resumed yesterday after the summer break. The minister stressed that the relationship between the Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME) and the council is one of co-operation and integration and the MME is keen to make every effort to meet the aspirations of the people. CMC chairman Mohamed Hammoud al-Shafi and vice-chairman Hamad Lahdan al-Mohannadi welcomed the minister and thanked him for his active and positive co-operation with the council in responding to the demands and needs of the people regarding various municipal affairs.
