HE the Minister of Foreign Affairs’ Special Envoy on Counterterrorism and Mediation in Disputes’ Settlements, ambassador Dr Mutlaq bin Majed al-Qahtani, yesterday met US Special Presidential Envoy for Hostage Affairs Robert O’Brien, who is currently visiting the region. The meeting discussed enhancing the prospects for co-operation and issues of mutual interest on the regional and international arenas. The US official praised the efforts of the State of Qatar in the field of mediation in regional and international issues.
