Leading hypermarket group Safari has announced that it is launching a ‘Win 10kg Gold’ mega promotion across all its outlets from today.
Customers will get a raffle coupon for every purchase worth QR50, which will enable them to take part in the draw to decide the winners.
A total of five draws will be held as part of the promotion and 2kg of gold will be given away in each draw, Safari Group said in a statement.
There will be four winners per draw.
The first-prize winner will get 1kg of gold, while the second-, third- and fourth-prize winners will receive 500gm, 300gm and 200gm of gold, respectively.
The statement added that 10 people, including citizens of Qatar, India, Nepal and Pakistan, won a Nissan Patrol each during the Safari Group’s ‘Win 10 Nissan Patrol Car Promotion’ that ended on August 22.
Highlighting the initiatives of the company, Safari Group director and general manager Zainul Abideen stressed it was a “historic moment in the retail industry” when Safari presented QR1mn as first prize in a promotion.
He also hoped that Safari’s customers would welcome and appreciate the ‘Win 10kg Gold’ promotion and participate in it with much enthusiasm.
