Ooredoo has announced that its Ooredoo app has been nominated for a World Summit Award 2018.
The nomination was sent from Qatar’s Ministry of Transport and Communications and Ooredoo has since gone on to submit all additional information required by the awards committee.
“The Ooredoo app has a strong chance of placing at the awards, as Ooredoo along with its partner iHorizons has continued to invest in its upgrades and features since the app launch in 2013,” the company said in a statement yesterday.
With the Ooredoo app, customers can enjoy a “seamless user experience, including quick access to accounts, a one-tap bill payment feature, personalised shortcuts and more”, the statement notes.
The Ooredoo app also serves as a one-stop-shop for all Ooredoo customers self-service needs with bill payments, Nojoom Point services, Ooredoo subscriptions and an 
allowances checker.
The latest version if the Ooredoo app is enabled to work with smart watches so that customers to keep an eye on their Ooredoo Passport usage via their device, as well as the chance to personalise their homepage with quick access buttons to their most used 
features.
The Ooredoo app is available for iOS and Android users and has an average score rating of 4.3 on the iTunes store.
