The Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC) has announced the opening of the registration at Al Waab Health Centre from September 16.
The registration is open for residents of Waab Zone 55 area, Azizya, Freej Al Soudan 55 and 54, Mehairja. They may register by visiting the website https://eservices.phcc.qa/location or by visiting the health centre once it is opened.
The new health centre is located in a populated area and will provide comprehensive healthcare services reducing the burden on neighbouring facilities. The health centre has the capacity to cater for 35,000 patients.
“Community health issues vary by geography and population dynamics. As primary healthcare in Qatar we are keen to tackle the health priorities faced by the populations according to our community needs assessments. Al Waab Health Centre will be equipped with the necessary facilities, provide the highest level of expertise in the field of primary care,” said Dr Samya al-Abdulla, executive director, operations and senior consultant of family medicine, PHCC.
