A Qatari parachuting team, part of the Joint Special Forces, won a silver medal at the recently concluded 42nd CISM (International Military Sports Council) World Military Parachuting Championship in Szolnok, Hungary.
Qatar won the medal in the male formation category.
Some 38 countries took part in the event.
This was also the Qatari team's eighth participation in such international championships.
