Mowasalat (Karwa) has announced that a number of public bus routes will have extended operating hours, until 1am, from August 21 to 23 in view of the upcoming Eid al-Adha.

This comes within the framework of the company’s preparations for Eid al-Adha, it has said in a press statement. 
“Mowasalat is gearing up, in collaboration with the competent authorities, to provide its services round the clock during the upcoming Eid al-Adha,” the statement notes.
The bus routes that will operate until 1am on the three above-mentioned dates are 10, 11, 12, 21, 31, 32, 33, 33A, 34, 40, 41, 43, 49, 55, 56, 57, 76, 94, 102X, 104B, 109, 129, 156, 107A, 301, 304 and 777, Mowasalat has said.
In addition, routes 104B from Doha Bus Station to Sheehaniya, and 170A from Doha Bus Station to Doha Festival City, will operate during the extended hours as replacements for 104A and 170. 
Routes not mentioned on the list above will run as usual with no change in their operating hours or frequencies.
Nasser bin Mohamed al-Malki, Mowasalat chairman, extended heartiest greetings to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani, His Highness the Father Amir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani, His Highness the Deputy Amir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad al-Thani, and all the people of Qatar on the occasion of Eid al-Adha.
“We hope for more returns of this memorable occasion and wish that Qatar always enjoys security, welfare and prosperity under the wise leadership of His Highness the Amir, he said. “It is our endeavour to work closely with our stakeholders and principal, the Ministry of Transport and Communications, in delivering as per the plans and contribute to achieving our ministry’s vision to provide a modern sustainable transport network and serve the community.”
Khalid Nasser al-Hail, Mowasalat managing director and CEO, added: “It is worth mentioning that as part of the transport network development plan in the State, and during this year, several modifications, changes and new routes have taken place under the guidance of the Ministry of Transport and Communications in line with National Transport Master Plan. Such information has been published publicly in various forms of communication channels and is available on our website.”
