His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani arrived in Ankara on Wednesday on a working visit. 
His Highness the Amir was received upon his arrival at Esenboga International Airport by  Turkey's Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Fatih Donmez, Governor of Ankara Ercan Topaca, commander of the garrison of Ankara Major-General Ahmet Abis, Turkey's Ambassador to Qatar Fikret Ozer, Qatar's Ambassador to Turkey Salem Mubarak Shafi al-Shafi, as well as members of the Qatari embassy in Turkey.
Earlier, the Amir left Doha for Turkey during which he will meet with President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. 
The Amir will review with the Turkish president bilateral relations and means of strengthening the existing strategic cooperation between the two countries in various fields, in addition to a number of issues of mutual interest.
The Amir is accompanied by an official delegation.
