Doha
The Ministry of Economy and Commerce (MEC), in collaboration with Doha Marketing Services Company (Domasco), dealer of Honda vehicles in Qatar, has announced a recall of Honda Odyssey models of 2011-2016 because the second row outer seat support may not work in a proper way.
In a statement yesterday, the MEC said the recall campaign came within the framework of its ongoing efforts to protect consumers and ensure that car dealers followed up on vehicle defects and repair them.
The ministry has said it will co-ordinate with the dealer to follow up on maintenance and repair works and communicate with customers to ensure that the necessary repairs are carried out.
The MEC has urged all customers to report violations to its Consumer Protection and Anti-Commercial Fraud Department, which processes complaints, inquiries and suggestions, through the call centre: 16001, email: [email protected], Twitter: @MEC_Qatar, Instagram: MEC_Qatar and the ministry’s mobile app for Android and iOS: MEC_Qatar
