More flights were cancelled at Munich Airport early Sunday after parts of the airport were temporarily shut down a day earlier when a woman slipped past a security checkpoint.
At least 12 flights had already been cancelled in the morning on Sunday, a spokesman for the airport said.
Although flights had once again started taking off on Saturday, passengers should still expect long waits at the airport on Sunday.
A day earlier, travellers were confronted with chaos after police were notified that a woman had passed through a security area without being screened by personnel, causing the closure of Terminal 2 and its satellite terminal.
At least 200 flights were cancelled on Saturday as a result, and another 60 flights were subject to delays of more than half an hour at Germany's second busiest airport at the height of summer holidays.
As a result, about 700 people had to sleep on camping beds in the airport Saturday night. Hundreds of others stayed in hotels.
Federal police in Bavaria said the woman who caused the chaos had been identified after hours of unsuccessfully searching for her, but declined to give details about what consequences she would face.
