BC Toastmasters Club (BTC) recently initiated a Youth Leadership Programme (YLP) for students aged 10–17. Twenty-five students participated in the programme.
Mohammed Salauddin, Chief Co-ordinator BTC, inaugurated the programme. Other members who spoke on the occasion, included Alim Uddin, Noor Mohammed, Mohammed Kourshed and Mohammed Jassim Uddin.
The event was also attended by Sameer Hassan Moosa and Sunita Saini, Division B Director. The aim of YLP is to encourage youth on public speaking and evaluating their public speaking ability. The programme will continue for three weeks, every Friday and Saturday.
