PM visits ministry's service centres

HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani on Wednesday visited a number of government services centres belonging to the Ministry of Administrative Development, Labour and Social Affairs and checked on the quality of services provided there. The centres provide 274 types of services for nine government authorities. They process a total of 6,500 requests a day. The Prime Minister was updated on the ministry's strategic plans for its different departments. He was also briefed on the services provided and the procedures job seekers are required to follow. The Prime Minister issued a directive for opening an office for the evidence and criminal info department, in order to facilitate for job-seeking citizens the process of obtaining a good conduct certificate.
