Doha Festival City has officially launched ‘Kids Club’, a new membership programme specifically for children.
Mini members will now get their own “exclusive offers, attractive deals and access to thrilling events every month”, Doha Festival City has said in a statement.
The ‘Kids Club’ was launched at Doha Festival City on Thursday with an event at Candyland – a pop-up experience giving visitors a chance to have the “sweetest fun and treats, along with a giveaway bag that contains a teddy bear and much more”.
Hundreds of children joined the launch celebration and signed up to the Doha Festival City ‘Kids Club’ programme, as they also enjoyed the donut wall activation inside Candyland, the statement noted.
May Marzooq, senior marketing manager of Doha Festival City Mall, said: “This is the first ever exclusive membership programme that is specifically for kids at Doha Festival City, and we are delighted to bring them many great offers and events to enjoy this summer. Shoppers can now register their kids and use their personalised ‘Kids Club’ card to get access to all the great deals!”
Upon registration children, will receive a customised ‘Kids Club’ card, alongside numerous special gifts – including a prize-filled backpack. Through the membership, children will be able to purchase much-loved items from retailers offering discounts ranging from 15% to 25%, such as IDEXE, Caboodle, Sargent Major and others.
With numerous events throughout the year, ‘Kids Club’ will give exclusive access to the mall’s activities and events first-hand. Parents can now register their children at the Customer Service Desk located in the Centre Court on the first floor and “enjoy a haven of surprises”, the statement adds.
Also, until July 28, visitors can enjoy the first-ever Candyland in Qatar at Doha Festival City. “The interactive sweet room and the Gingerbread Playhouse contain giant ice lollies, candy canes and other sugary delights, providing fairytale-esque setting for the whole family to delight in. With pools filled with sprinkles and marshmallows, visitors with a sweet tooth will be in their very own dreamland,” the statement adds.
