HE the President of Qatar Olympic Committee Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad al-Thani visited on Wednesday Majlis Qatar, which is organised by the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy (SC) in Moscow on the sidelines of the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
Sheikh Joaan was welcomed by a number of SC officials and briefed about the facilities and activities of Majlis Qatar, which resembles "Bayt Al Shaar", the traditional tent common throughout the Arab world and which serves as the inspiration for the 60,000-seat 2022 FIFA World Cup venue Al Bayt Stadium in Al Khor City.
