Qatar Islamic Bank (QIB) has teamed up with MasterCard to launch a summer promotion, titled ‘Win Weekly with QIB Mastercard Cards’, with a grand prize of QR100,000.
The promotion runs from the beginning of July until the end of September.
Customers can take advantage of extra rewards this summer, with every transaction of QR500 spent overseas entitling them to enter the draw for a chance to win prizes, the bank has said in a statement.
Customers who use their QIB Mastercard debit card for a minimum transaction of QR500 – excluding ATM transctions – outside Qatar will get the chance to win QR10,000 weekly, while one grand prize winner will get QR100,000 at the end of the campaign.
D Anand, general manager of QIB Personal Banking Group, said: “Summer is an exciting time for our customers, filled with shopping, travel and entertainment. We want to extend our appreciation for our customers’ loyalty to the QIB Mastercard by rewarding them with cash prizes, especially during the summer months that are accompanied by additional expenses.”
QIB and Mastercard will reward a total of 12 winners and one grand prize winner. To be eligible for the prize draw, customers need to use QIB’s Mastercard debit card outside Qatar.
The draws will be conducted in the presence of representatives from MasterCard on the QIB premises along with Ministry of Economy and Commerce.
