Caretaker Prime Minister Nasirul Mulk received Qatar’s Minister of Economy and Commerce HE Sheikh Ahmed bin Jassim bin Mohamed al-Thani, who was leading a high-level delegation to Pakistan,in Islamabad yesterday.
Discussions touched on the historical Qatar-Pakistan relations as well as measures aimed at enhancing economic and trade co-operation, bolstering bilateral trade, and facilitating the flow of goods and investment between the two countries.
Sheikh Ahmed praised the significant contribution of Pakistani companies to the comprehensive economic development of Qatar, and the efforts of the members of the Pakistani community in supporting the Qatar’s economy.
The Qatari minister also met Minister of Trade and Textiles Mian Misbah al-Rehman and army chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa.
