Trimoo, the world’s ground-breaking location-based entertainment company represented by Talal bin Mohamed Trading (TBMT) in Qatar, has officially announced Ooredoo as the exclusive telecommunications partner for its cluster of high-thrill entertainment parks, set to launch at Doha Festival City.
The country’s largest family destination is comprised of four pioneering concepts: Angry Birds World, Snow Dunes, Virtuocity, and Juniverse, which together span more than 45,000sq m.
The five-year sponsorship agreement was signed between TBMT chairman Talal bin Mohammed bin Khalifa al-Attiyah and Ooredoo Qatar CEO Waleed al-Sayed at a special ceremony held recently at the Ooredoo Tower in West Bay.
With Ooredoo’s strategic partnership in place, Trimoo aims to drive its motto of boundless experience even further.
Visitors will enjoy high-end and fast Internet connectivity with no latency across Qatar’s largest indoor and outdoor entertainment destination, providing an unparalleled guest experience.
The country’s national telecom provider will also cement the data transfer and usage network, supporting each park’s cutting-edge technology and attractions through its world-class Supernet.
Furthermore, a dedicated Ooredoo space will be located within the destination, allowing visitors full access to the network’s comprehensive range of products and customer-care services.
“Ooredoo is proud to sponsor and support such an important step for Qatar. With our state-of-the-art infrastructure and network, and Trimoo’s innovative parks, we are going to create a truly amazing experience for the people of Qatar,” al-Sayed said.
“Ooredoo has a long history of supporting family-friendly destinations in our country, and we can’t wait to see the impact this upcoming mega project will have,” he noted.
“Ooredoo is working hard to reach its goal of becoming the number one ICT provider in the region and partnerships like today help demonstrate that we are the best choice for Qatar’s communication needs,” al-Sayed added.
Al-Attiyah said that under the exemplary leadership of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani, the country has witnessed a rapid proliferation of its economy.
“This unparalleled growth has opened up opportunities to diversify and invest in other industries such as tourism, thus shaping Qatar into one of the most sought-after destinations in the region,” he noted.
“At TBMT, we continuously strive to work in line with the national aspirations of Qatar and contribute towards its expansion. Hence, when Trimoo approached us with their pioneering concepts, we immediately got on board,” al-Attiyah explained.
Trimoo CEO Riad Makdessi said they are working meticulously on the development of each park, from its range of attractions to personalised visitor interactions.
“This is to ensure that we deliver the highest standards of family entertainment in the country. We are driven by the motto of boundless experience,” Makdessi stressed.
“By securing Ooredoo as the exclusive telecom provider, we are reaffirming our commitment towards enriching lives and creating lasting impressions. This esteemed partnership will help us build upon our shared goals of innovation and limitless imagination,” Makdessi added.
The four entertainment parks will feature an array of thrilling rides and attractions, edutainment activities, food and beverage options and retail stores.
