Under this programme, all QIB customers will earn Absher points as an appreciation of their banking relationship with QIB.
All QIB customers will earn Absher points when they transfer their salaries, open fixed deposit accounts, use their QIB debit and credit cards, and QIB mobile App, and Internet Banking.
Absher points will be instantly redeemable through QIB Absher online portal (https://absher.qib.com.qa) where customers can choose to book their flight tickets from over 900 airlines, book a room from over 450,000 hotels, and rent a car from more than 150,000 car rental offices in 150 cities worldwide.
They will also have access to the online shopping store ‘infishop’ specialised in redeeming points with thousands of products across different categories, such as electronic items, books, sports, and household items from leading brands. Products will be home delivered anywhere in Qatar.
Additionally, the QIB Absher Rewards Programme will not have any blackout dates or restrictions, which means that QIB customers can redeem their points and enjoy all the benefits at their preferred season and time. “At QIB, we put the customer at the heart of everything we do. The Absher programme is our way of celebrating this relationship and rewarding them for their trust and loyalty,” said D Anand, QIB general manager - Personal Banking Group. He added: “This programme is an ongoing proposition that will be regularly updated with new partners and benefits responding to our customers’ evolving needs and preferences.”
With the new programme, QIB customers will gain access, through an easy and simple registration process, to an online portal created specifically to view and redeem the points they have earned. The redemption process is completely automated online. QIB customers can start earning Absher points as of today and can check their awarded points’ statement by activating their Absher account on https://absher.qib.com.qa
