Arab League Council emergency meeting to discuss recent developments in Yemen at the level of permanent representatives began yesterday at the headquarters of Arab League’s General Secretariat in Cairo. Permanent Representative of Qatar to the Arab League Ambassador Saif bin Muqaddam al-Buainain headed Qatar’s delegation at the meeting.
The meeting was held at the request of Yemen to discuss the latest developments in the situation in the country.
Russian deputy FM meets Qatari envoy
Deputy Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation Mikhail Bogdanov met Qatar’s ambassador to Russia Fahad bin Mohamed al-Attiyah in Moscow yesterday. The meeting discussed bilateral relations and means to develop them in addition to topics of mutual interest.
Queen Hospital to host Eid events
Queen Hospital, described as the first boutique hospital in the country, has invited families to join Queen Eid al-Fitr Festival tomorrow (Saturday, June 16) from 5pm to 10pm at Queen booth, Villaggio Mall. There will be a number of activities, including giveaway distributions, free face painting, and a colouring section and photo-booth for kids. They will also get the chance to meet and take pictures with the real-life Elsa from the famous Disney movie Frozen. Parents are also offered free henna sessions and health check-ups at the booth.
