All emergency and inpatient services across Hamad Medical Corporation’s (HMC) network of hospitals will operate round-the-clock during the Eid al-Fitr holidays, it was announced.
“Every day across our hospital network our teams deliver high quality care to many thousands of patients, and this Eid will be no different,” said HMC’s chief communications officer Ali Abdullah al-Khater, who is also the chair of the Healthcare Communications Committee.
He stressed that outpatient departments will close for the four days of Eid but clinical teams across HMC’s hospitals will continue to provide the highest levels of patient care in emergency departments and across many essential services throughout the holiday period.
“On behalf of everyone at HMC, I would like to wish you and your family a safe and healthy Eid Mubarak,” al-Khater added.
