His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani met on Monday with Ireland's ambassador to Qatar John Paul Kavanagh at Al Bahr Palace who called on him to greet him after the end of his term in office.
The Amir wished the ambassador success in future tasks and bilateral relations between the two countries further progress and prosperity.
For his part, the ambassador expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Amir and the State officials for their co-operation that helped make his tenure a success.
