QIIB shareholders at their extraordinary general assembly meeting on Monday night approved amendment of some of the provisions of the Articles of Association in order to comply with the Corporate Governance Law and the legal entities listed in the main market, number (5) of 2016 issued by the Qatar Financial Markets Authority. The amended were Article 32 of the Articles of Association, Article 39, Article 46, addition of a new article under number 77 and addition of a new article under 78. QIIB chairman and managing director Sheikh Dr Khalid bin Thani bin Abdullah al-Thani presided over the meeting. Vice-chairman Sheikh Abdullah bin Thani bin Abdullah al-Thani and CEO Dr Abdulbasit Ahmad al-Shaibei and other directors were among those present at the meeting held at the Ezdan Tower.
