This week, a host of Ooredoo volunteers distributed dates and water to people passing by the Doha Corniche to kick off the company’s #RamadanWithOoredoo CSR activities.
The group of Ooredoo volunteers arrived before sundown to surprise people with water and dates to break their fast for Iftar. Manar Khalifa al-Muraikhi, Ooredoo director of PR and Corporate Communications, said: “We believe in the unity of breaking our fast with families and our customers on Qatar’s beautiful Corniche. We hope everyone had a great time. Ramadan Mubarak to all.”
The volunteers, who represented some of the business units across the company, were stationed at the end of the Corniche near West Bay, to distribute the gifts at sunset to passers-by as well as people driving along the seafront.
