Pakistan’s ambassador to Qatar, Shahzad Ahmad,  pictured, has issued a message on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan.
“In the blessed month of Ramadan, I would like to extend my greetings to all my Muslim brothers and sisters in Qatar and wish them Ramadan Mubarak. My prayers for you and your loved ones for good health, happiness, and a long life,” the message read.
“May Almighty Allah help us seize the opportunity of this holy month of Ramadan which is a spiritual time to reflect on the year gone by, to observe self-sacrifice and to devote oneself to Allah,” the envoy added. “The month of Ramadan provides us with the opportunity to thank Allah for all His blessings, to be compassionate to those who are less fortunate and to seek His forgiveness.
“This Ramadan, it is my sincerest prayer that there may be peace and reconciliation among all the Muslim Ummah.”
