Under the patronage of HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani, the Faisal Centre for Community Responsibility, is organising the third international conference on social responsibility under the title “Education is a societal responsibility in light of changes and crises,” from May 6-8 at the Qatar National Convention Centre.
Director General of Al Faisal Foundation for Charity Abdullatif al-Yafei said during a press conference yesterday that the conference highlights the role played by the private sector in achieving development and progress in the education sector in Qatar. A number of subjects on education will be discussed during the three-day conference, as well as recommendations that will contribute to raising the level of education in Qatar. He pointed out that one of the aims of organising the event for the third year in a row is to enhance research in the field of education available in the country.
He pointed out that the conference will cover the scientific research aspect and highlight its importance in developing community work and in making it more effective for achieving sustainable development.
