Qatar's ambassador to Spain Mohamed Jaham al-Kuwari has underlined that the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar will be unique and exemplary in all respects, stressing that Qatar is all set to host the world at this important event.
The Qatari ambassador said that sport is a bridge between nations and cultures, and it is a great honour to have such an opportunity.
In an interview with the Spanish sports newspaper "AS" on the sidelines of the launch of its Arabic version at the headquarters of the Royal Spanish Football Federation, ambassador al-Kuwari stressed the importance of launching an Arabic language version of the newspaper in serving the Arab world and contributing to strengthening the relations between Qatar and Spain in the field of sports.
The ambassador believed that the newspaper will provide the Arab youth with abundant information, especially as "AS" is a famous international newspaper and it is an honour to have it in the Arabic language.
Ambassador Mohammed al-Kuwari highlighted Aspire Academy in Qatar which seeks to train future stars to serve as role models for Arab youth and convey a good image of the Arab region to the whole world.
