HE the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Sultan bin Saad al-Muraikhi met with First Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Georgia David Zalkaliani, State Secretary at Swiss Ministry of Foreign Affairs Pascale Baeriswyl, Ukraine’s Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergey Kislitsa, and Minister for Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration of Ghana Shirley Botchwey.
The meetings, held at the United Nations headquarters in New York, on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly High Level Meeting on “Peacebuilding and Peace Sustainability”, discussed  bilateral relations, prospects for joint co-operation and means to boost them, in addition to a number of issues of common concern .
The meetings were attended by Qatar’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations HE Sheikha Alya Ahmed bin Saif al-Thani.


Mercedes models recalled
The Ministry of Economy and Commerce (MEC), in collaboration with Nasser Bin Khaled Automobiles, has announced the recall of Mercedes-Benz S-Class and E-Class models of 2016-2017 because the digital and printed owner’s manuals do not correspond to factory specification.
The MEC said the recall campaign comes within the framework of its ongoing efforts to protect consumers and ensure that automobile dealers follow up on vehicles’ defects and repair them.
The MEC said it will co-ordinate with the dealer to follow up on the maintenance and repair works and will communicate with customers to ensure that the necessary repairs are carried out.
