The Ministry of Interior’s (MoI) Traffic Awareness Department yesterday held a seminar on the importance of traffic safety among students of military colleges.
The participants at the event at the headquarters of the Traffic Department included representatives of the Police College, Ahmed bin Mohamed Military College and the Ministry of Awqaf.
Traffic Awareness Department director Col Mohamed Radhi al-Hajiri, Captain Mohamed al-Humaidi from the Ahmed bin Mohamed Military College and Captain Ayedh al-Ahbabi of the Police College led the discussions.
The topics at the seminar were traffic misconceptions and risks, the role of military colleges in spreading the culture of traffic safety, the importance of a good role model for future officers and prospects of co-operation between military colleges and the Traffic Awareness Department.
