Qatar Technology for Aluminium & Steel Co, a JA & P Group company, has set up its new manufacturing facility in the New Industrial Area.
The factory was inaugurated on April 14 by Yousef al-Emadi, director of Industrial Estates, in the presence of Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassem A al-Thani, Group chairman; Jacob Koshy, Group managing director; Rollin Jacob Koshy, Group executive director; other prominent personalities, customers and employees.
Qatar Technology for Aluminium & Steel is ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001: 2015 and BS OHSAS 18001: 2007 certified and is a specialist in providing “premium, world-class façade solutions” - aluminium windows, doors, skylights, curtain walls, structural glazing, etc.
The company is the authorised fabricator for leading aluminium systems, including Hueck Germany, SAPA Belgium, Technal France, Gulf Extrusion, etc.
The newly-inaugurated “state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, covering 10,000sqm of factory space and installed with top-of-the-line CNC machines and processing units, will enhance Qatar Technology for Aluminium & Steel’s capacity to cater to growing market demand”, the company has said in a statement.
JA & P Group, which was founded by Sheikh Jassem bin Ahmed K al-Thani, has been in the Qatari market for the last two decades. The group is “widely acclaimed for bringing and popularising” the concept of uPVC windows and doors in Qatar through its group company, Qatar uPVC Windows + Doors.
JA & P Group is also engaged in civil construction, MEP works and painting contracts.
