Abdullah Abdulghani & Bros Co’s (AAB) Pre-Owned Vehicles Department has held a function at the showroom to celebrate its 2018 first quarter achievements.
The celebration was attended by acting chief executive officer R K Murugan, and senior managers of AAB as well as employees of the Pre-Owned Vehicles Department.
Congratulating the employees for their “outstanding performance” in the first quarter of 2018, Murugan emphasised the importance of the ‘customer first’ philosophy of AAB, which “distinguishes the company from others”.
AAB’s ‘customer first’ philosophy stands for F: Fairness, I: Integrity, R: Respect, S: Superior Performance and T: Teamwork. The philosophy has helped the company “become one of the best organisations in the private sector”, it has said in a statement.
During the function, top-performing employees were handed over certificates of appreciation by Murugan. “We at Abdullah Abdulghani & Bros Co has managed to keep our determination to grow in the market by providing good-quality pre-owned vehicles at competitive prices as well as by providing good customer service,” he said.
Wael Mohamed Mekhimr, senior manager of the Pre-Owned Vehicles Department, appreciated the efforts of his team and said the results of the first quarter were due to “excellent teamwork in providing the best customer service as well as by delivering good-quality pre-owned vehicles”.
“AAB’s management always believes that its employees are the most vital pillars of the organisation for sustainable growth. As such, the company has implemented various training and employee welfare programmes to enhance employee satisfaction and enhance
productivity,” the statement noted.
AAB had launched the pre-owned vehicle section in 1995 to provide high-quality trade-in services for Toyota and Lexus vehicles. Over 20 years, the section has “established a good name for itself in the pre-owned vehicles segment through excellent customer service and by providing an excellent range and models of cars at competitive prices”, the statement adds.
