HE the Minister of Economy and Commerce Sheikh Ahmed bin Jassim bin Mohamed al-Thani has met with Joe Wilson, US Representative for South Carolina’s second congressional district, and discussed ways to promote co-operation between Qatar and the US, especially in the economic and investment sectors. On the sidelines of a Qatari delegation’s economic tour of the US, currently taking place in Charleston, South Carolina, HE the Minister discussed with the Congressman the means of encouraging the private sector in both countries to establish joint investment projects and attract US companies to Qatar.
