QNB has demonstrated its steadfast commitment to the Qatar National Vision 2030 and its significant contribution to the development of a sustainable, diversified national economy, by signing an agreement with the first-ever Qatar India Business and Investment Conference (QIBIC) as ‘diamond sponsor’ of the ground-breaking summit.
The first-of-its-kind conference, organised by the Indian Business & Professionals Council (IBPC) Qatar, and Reach Events, in collaboration with the Indian Embassy in Qatar, will run from April 16 to 17 at the City Center Rotana Doha Hotel.
It will offer a unique forum featuring government ministers, officials, VIPs, and business pioneers, who will explore further co-operation across the business landscapes of Qatar and India.
The two-day summit will comprise keynotes and crucial discussion panels to explore opportunities and discuss ways of enhancing the deep-rooted and multi-faceted Qatar-India relationship, which has contributed significantly towards the growth and development of Qatar over the years.
The QNB agreement to provide its diamond sponsorship emphasises the high-level support the agenda-setting conference has attracted since it was announced. As the country’s largest bank and leading financial institution in the MEA region, the QNB Group plays a prominent role in the economic development of the nation and the achievement of Qatar National Vision 2030 through its robust CSR strategy. The QIBIC conference will examine in detail the business ecosystem in India and Qatar, and will recommend measures for enhancing coordination between the two to achieve more effective results in the future.
“QNB Group is one of the most recognised financial institutions across the entire Middle East and Africa region, so to secure their participation as one of the main sponsors is a milestone for us and is testament to the level of interest in this conference and the significance of it. This partnership, alongside the agreements with our other partners, reflects the collaboration and commitment we share in working together to facilitate Qatar’s goals for a diverse economy,” said Wahab Bou Hamdan, CEO at Reach. High-level thought leadership sessions across the two days of the QIBIC conference will focus on topics such as private sector opportunities in hospitality and tourism, the industrial sector, infrastructure, investment and finances, the services sector, and technology.
The small and medium-sized enterprise and entrepreneurship landscape in India and Qatar will be explored, and there will be further sessions focusing on agriculture trends, strategies, and long-term plans.
The QIBIC will open its doors open for registration at 8am on April 16. For more information or for registration in advance, email [email protected]
