The Bedaya Centre for Entrepreneurship and Career Development (Bedaya Centre), a joint initiative by Qatar Development Bank and Silatech, recently hosted the ‘Under 30s CEOs’ event, in collaboration with Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU). 
The event gathered well-known speakers to communicate with the students, and offered critical insights to the audience. The event celebrated and reflected the crucial learnings of young CEOs “who went against all odds to realise their dreams.”
Ibrahim al-Imadi, founder and owner of Foug café, said, “Every entrepreneur is exposed to many challenges in various phases of his work, but the important factor remains to stand up and face those difficulties and overcome the obstacles with a strong heart and hard work to reach his goals and achieve his targets.” 
Reem al-Sowaidi, general manager, Bedaya Centre, said, “Through such events, we aim to empower students and guests with the real-life learnings of under 30 CEOs from diverse sectors, who were able to withstand various challenges and achieved success in their respective fields, with great determination and hard work. 
“I have had the opportunity to work at Bedaya Centre since the beginning of my career. Thanks to God and my colleagues and the vision of QDB and Silatech, I was appointed, in later stage, as the general manager of the centre. Despite all the difficulties I faced, I would not have known the taste of my achievements if there were no challenges to overcome them.”
The event also witnessed the participation of Ghanim al-Sulaiti, founder and owner of Evergreen Café; Yousef M al-Jaber, director of Total’s Research Centre; Azza Salah, founder and CEO of Sky Claimers; and Roda al-Qubaisi, Human Development adviser, who talked about the obstacles and challenges they faced while starting their venture, and how they were able to overcome them. 
The CEOs also offered guidance to motivate students towards achieving their goals.
