Emir sends greetings to Costa Rica president-elect

UNRWA hails Qatar’s $50mn donation
The UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) hailed the financial support Qatar has announced during the extraordinary ministerial meeting to support UNRWA held in Rome on March 15. UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres on March 23 had expressed his thanks and gratitude to His Highness the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani for Qatar’s pledge. “With its unprecedented pledge Qatar will become one of UNRWA’s top donors,” UNRWA said.
