Ashghal will implement a temporary closure of the Olympic Intersection (Sports Intersection) on the main lanes of the four sides for a period of 36 hours from Thursday evening.
Traffic through the stretch will resume on Saturday morning. During the period, traffic heading to the Olympic Intersection from its four sides can turn right only and use the next intersection (as shown on the map).
The temporary closure aims to complete the final asphalt layer at the Olympic Intersection as part of the development works implemented at intersections and roundabouts in various areas of the Greater Doha to reduce traffic congestion.
