HE the Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani met a number of ministers and senior officials concerned with emergency and civil defence participating in the meetings of the 23rd session of the General Assembly of International Civil Defence Organisation (ICDO) in Doha on Tuesday.
The Prime Minister met the Minister of Emergency Situations of Kyrgyzstan Kubatbek Boronov, Minister of Emergency Situations of Armenia Davit Tonoyan, Chairman of the Committee of Emergency Situations and Civil Defence of Tajikistan Lt Gen Rustam Nazarzoda and ICDO Secretary-General Dr Vladimir Kuvshinov.
Talks during the meetings dealt with relations, especially in the field of civil protection and civil defence, and ways of developing them, in addition to topics on the agenda of the ICDO meetings.
