Nepal’s ambassador Professor Ramesh Prasad Koirala recently held a meeting with HE the Governor of Qatar Central Bank (QCB) Sheikh Abdulla bin Saoud al-Thani at the latter’s office.
Among the issues discussed at the meeting were the economic security of Nepali workers in Qatar and bilateral relations.
Also discussed were the Wage Protection System and an upcoming mobile app for remitting money.
The QCB governor said he would work to minimise the charges levied to send money from Qatar to Nepal.
