In collaboration with the Italian embassy in Doha, the Cultural Village Foundation — Katara has launched a photography exhibition 'Italian Excellence in Sea'.
The pictures depict the remarkable achievements of the Italian naval shipyards with emphasis on technology, design, professionalism and beauty.
The exhibition was opened in the presence of Katara's assistant general manager Ahmed al-Sayyed, Italian ambassador Pasquale Salzano, Italian Navy chief Rear Admiral Valter Girardelli and a delegation of high-ranking officers from the Italian navy.

Salzano praised the efforts of Katara to organise the exhibition and their constant efforts to open new horizons of cultural exchange.
He noted that the Italian-Qatari bilateral relations are developing rapidly with more agreements and economic co-operation.
