Nepalese Muslims Society Qatar (NMS) recently hosted an interaction programme at Shalimar Palace. This event was the first largest event of the year conducted by NMS. The programme was attended by more than 200 intellectuals, entrepreneurs and scholars.
Mohammad Rizwan Ansari, former minister of state for Home Affairs, Government of Nepal, was the chief guest on the occasion. Mohammad Rizwan Ansari received a certificate of appreciation and token of love from NMS for his valuable contributions to the society and the country.
NMS awarded all the dignitaries who extended their valuable support to serve the flood victim in Nepal. Mohammad Rizwan Ansari said, “It is great privilege to be part of the interaction programme and thanked the NMS team for their valuable support and cooperation to the society and country.”
Meanwhile he congratulated all the awardees who received letters of appreciation during the event. He also highlighted, “We have outstanding bilateral relations Qatar for many decades. Qatar is interested in participating and investing in the development of Nepal.”
NMS Acting General Secretary Afsar Khan presented progress report, which included 14 major works accomplished during the period of one year. The report spoke about the organisation’s works related to support for the needy people, flood victims, and educational support for the deprived students. 
In his closing remarks, NMS President Mohammed Ayub Haque thanked and congratulated all his team members and advisors for their extraordinary support and for all the hard work.
