His Highness the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani held yesterday a telephone conversation with Brukina Faso President Roch Marc Christian Kabore to offer condolences on the victims of multiple attacks that targeted army headquarters, the French embassy and the Institute Francais in the capital Ouagadougou, wishing the injured a speedy recovery. The Emir expressed his condemnation to the heinous crime, stressing Qatar’s support of Burkina Faso in the face of extremism and terrorism of all kinds.
Meanwhile, Qatar strongly condemned the attacks. The Foreign Ministry renewed Qatar’s firm position in rejecting violence and terrorism regardless of its motives.
