His Highness the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Economic Affairs and Investment, presided yesterday over the council’s first meeting of 2018 at Al Bahr Palace. The meeting was attended by His Highness the Deputy Emir and Vice-Chairman of the Council Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad al-Thani, HE the Prime Minister and Interior Minister, who is also the executive member, Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani, and their excellencies members of the council. The meeting focused on the agenda and took the appropriate decisions regarding them. The council discussed the implementation steps of the Second National Development Strategy (2018-2022), besides discussing the latest developments related to the energy industry.
