Morison Menon Chartered Accountants and Partners Qatar, which was recently approved by the Qatar Financial Market Authority to be external auditors and financial evaluators for the entities listed on the Qatar Stock Exchange, has shifted its office to a sprawling Shoumoukh Tower, Al Nasr.
Doha Bank Group chief executive Dr R Seetharaman inaugurated the office and emphasised the importance of the independence of the audit function in his inaugural address.
Seetharaman said governance focused, independent audits are imperative in fostering confidence in the domestic capital markets and thus propelling national growth.
Kurian Kuriakose, the managing partner of Morison Menon, reiterated his firm’s commitment to executing ethical, independent audits and to continue to facilitate Qatar’s ‘Vision 2030’. He asserted that the firm’s growth across the last 11 years is an implicit nod to the veracity of this goal.
