Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, Chairperson of Education Above All Foundation and UN Sustainable Development Goals advocate, will participate in the high-level session organised by Education Above All and the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (Unesco) on Wednesday under the theme of "Connecting the SDGs: The Key Role of Education" at Unesco headquarters in Paris.
Sheikha Moza will deliver a keynote speech on the importance of education in linking Sustainable Development Goals and achieving them in a faster manner and through innovative mechanisms.
The event will gather global leaders from various sectors to explore ways of tackling the worldwide education crisis, which is keeping over 60mn primary-aged children out of school.
Sheikha Moza plays an effective and active role in the United Nations to support education at the global level and was appointed a member of the Sustainable Development Goals Advocacy Group in 2016. She supports these goals through quality education opportunities offered by the Education Above All Foundation.
