The Ministry of Public Health announced that the Department of Medical Commission will stop issuing the annual health certificates for laundry workers as of the beginning of March.
They will only be obliged to undergo medical examinations at Medical Commission when they enter the country for the first time for the purpose of obtaining a work visa. The decision is in accordance with the recommendations of the concerned authorities in the ministries of public health, municipality and environment, and economy and commerce, since laundry workers' job does not pose a danger in the transmission of infectious diseases.
