The spell of scattered light-to-moderate rain is expected to continue in parts of the country on Friday, the Qatar Met department has said.
The chances of rain are likely to improve on Saturday and on Sunday in most places around Qatar, and it may also be thundery at times in some areas, the weather office tweeted on Thursday.
On Wednesday, the Met department had said there were chances of rain around the country until the end of next week due to a spell of ‘unsettled weather’.
Scattered light rain was detected in parts of the country and offshore areas on Thursday, according to the Met department.
