Nakilat celebrated National Sport Day 2018 by organising a wide range of fun-filled activities for its employees and their families. Employees of Nakilat and its joint ventures joined the celebrations by taking part in a series of sporting activities.
Nakilat’s employees and their families turned up in the hundreds, participating in sporting activities such as football, basketball and table tennis. There was also a specially-designated area for the children to get active and stay entertained. Overall, the event served as an excellent platform in promoting an active lifestyle and cohesiveness amongst the Nakilat family.
Committed towards promoting a positive health and wellness culture within the company, Nakilat had organised a health seminar with Qatar Petroleum’s Occupational Health Department to engage its employees in the week leading to the Sport Day.
Employees not only received useful advisory on healthy meal plans and nutrition insights during the interactive session with the dietician, but also received tips on how to find a balance in their daily activities and include regular exercise.
Nakilat believes that the health and well-being of its employees are significant in enhancing productivity levels and ensuring the creation of a sustainable workforce. The company actively advocates wellness and healthy lifestyle among its employees and families through various initiatives throughout the year, in line with Qatar’s National Vision 2030 for the development of a healthy society.
