Al Wakrah Municipality's health control section has issued 18 violations to various food facilities within the municipality, collecting QR135,000 worth of fines from 307 field inspections conducted last month.
Authorities also destroyed 315kg of foodstuff that was found unfit for human consumption. The agency took the necessary action to address 11 related complaints received within the same period.
Also, 24 shopkeepers signed affidavits to remove the violations founds in their shops.
